This is the Womens Australian Open 9-Ball Title event held by the Australian Pool Players Association (APPA).

Due to scheduling and resource issues this Womens event for 2024 has been pushed to January 2025

Competitors must be a financial member of the APPA to enter.

Note: As per by laws, this event requires a minimum of 8 players

FORMAT

1 Day Event

9-Ball - WPA Rules.  Winner Breaks. 

Morning. Groups stage - Double Elimination.

Groups of 4 players per group.  Race to 5. Capped at 16 women.

Afternoon Single Elimination.   8  players.

PARKING ADVICE

Saturday: Follow signs for emerald square level b3. That gets 1.5hrs free. Then validate ticket in machine at CityHeroes to increase to 4 hours free.

Sunday: Parking is free

DRESS CODE:

Day 1. Qualifier Stage - Smart Casual. No offensive attire.

Day 2. Smart polo’s, dark trousers or dark jeans, and smart trainers / shoes
