Official Statement from OPBA
The Australian Pool Players Association (APPA) is a Category 1 Full of the Oceania Pocket Billiards Association (OPBA).
As such they are recognized as the National body for pocket-billiards in Australia. As a full member of the OPBA their qualifying players are eligible for playing positions, at World Pool Association (WPA) sanctioned events and World Championships.
